Pecha Kucha 20 x 20 presentation at De La Warr Pavilion

On June 9th, 2016, I had the privilege of taking part in a Pecha Kucha presentation at De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill.

Pecha Kucha is a presentation style in which 20 slides are shown for 20 seconds each (6 minutes and 40 seconds in total). This is a fast pace fun format.

My Pecha Kucha presentation entitled The Artist And the Machine explored how I use machine knitting as a fine art medium.

On the evening there were 10 speakers presenting including myself.

Jeff Turko: Soul {Re} searching
Letty Gallagher: The 60s Garage and Surf Scene
Tom Banks: How I Got Here
Evelijn Forrest: Hero’s Journey; Practice what you Preach
Martin O’Neill: This is All Rubbish
Sean Roy Parker: Systems for Sharing
Luciana Haill: The Art and Neuroscience of Lucid Dreaming
Richard Hogg: Some Cool Knots
Lorna Hamilton-Brown MBE: The Artist And the Machine
Explore the Arch (Gail Borrow & Vladimir Miller) – Hidden Books

As you can see there was a wide selection of topics which, made for an exciting, entertaining evening.
